Lyfa Scissor Light

Mid 20th century wall-mounted scissor lamp.

Manufactured by Lyfa, made in Denmark (there are no makers marks, but it is a known LYFA design)

The lamp can be swung right to left and the head of the lamp can be adjusted forward and back. The scissor mechanism adjusts the depth of the lamp. It has been professionally rewired and has been fitted with a three-pin UK plug and a modern pleated shade.

The light can be hung with the point facing up or down, making it a versatile piece.

Condition report:

Good condition – There are some minor signs of wear commensurate with age. There is small piece of cable grommet missing on the wall section – approximately 0.5cm. The lamp has been professionally rewired and has been fitted with a modern replacement shade. Please contact us if require a full condition report.
