Mid 20th Century Vase Manufactured by Marzi & Remy Keramik, based in West Germany (the embossed logo and shape number can be found on the base)
The vase has a blue mottle glaze with a very pale blue interior. The vase tapers to just above the middle before widening again in a type of hourglass shape.
About Marzi & Remy Keramik:
Marzi & Remy Keramik West German company founded in 1879 by Anton Marzi and Simon Peter Remy. The company was based in Höhr in the Westerwald region and was a leading producer of stoneware and pottery. Following difficulties in the marketplace, the company eventually ceased trading in 1994.
