Mid 20th Century Chest of Drawers
By Danish manufacturer Ejsing Mobelfabrik (stamped on the back/top corner)
The piece comprises of three drawers, all with double wooden sculpted drawer pulls
The turned legs can be unscrewed for easy transportation or storage
There is a key hole for the top drawer with brass escutcheon, however, the lock has been removed from the inside, this does not affect the overall look of the piece when the drawer is closed.
The piece is constructed of teak veneer. The handles and legs are made from solid teak
The drawer inserts are constructed from solid wood. The base and back panels are board.
The overall colour is medium teak with details such as the handles and legs stained in darker tones as an accent.
The inside of the drawers are clean and without stains.
Condition report:
Good condition – overall the piece is in good condition with some signs of wear commensurate with a piece of this age.
There are some minor marks and scratches on the top
The lock is missing from the top drawer, however, the brass keyhole fitting is still in place and when the drawer is closed it is not visible that the lock is missing.
