The Coat Tree
Designed by Sidse Werner in 1971
Manufactured by Fritz Hansen in Denmark
This piece is a 1992 example, labelled on the underside
It is constructed from eight steel tubes, bent creating the appearance of branches and roots. The black synthetic ball hooks are used to cap the ends of the tubes and create additional hooks from the branches.
It has a chrome finish.
Sidse Werner (1931-1989)
Sidse studied at the School for Architecture and Industrial Design in Copenhagen. She worked as an assistant in the design studio of Nanna Ditzel for a number of years before starting her own design studio in 1970.
Fritz Hansen (1872-present)
Founded in Denmark in 1872, Fritz Hansen has been at the forefront of Danish design for over 150 years and has helped influence design worldwide.

Good Condition – very good original condition, with very few minor signs of wear commensurate with age.
