“London Transport commissioned this poster in 1961 to promote leisure travel to the country. It was issued in the spring to encourage Londoners to make the most of their countryside.” – London Transport Museum website.
The poster was available to purchase at the poster shop in Marylebone – “This is a reproduction of a poster designed for London Transport” is printed on the image as it was for sale during the period.
The poster has been newly professionally framed with a black wooden frame.
The poster has been used and has signs of wear including some creasing and a small tear in the top.

Good Condition – there are signs of wear commensurate with age.
