Mid 20th Century Floor Lamp
Manufactured by Dijkstra Lampen – Dijkstra was founded in 1922 by Fokke Dijkstra.
Made in Netherlands
Two adjustable plexiglass shades in a striking orange colour with inner aluminium shades. The shades are adjustable in height and direction and attach to a chrome stand.
The metal base is painted black.
The switch is a press button which operates three light settings, each bulb individually or both on together.
This piece has been fitted with a three-pin UK plug
**Please ensure that low wattage LED bulbs are used, as these will stay cooler and are less likely to cause damage to the light fitting over time
Ensure that all mid century and antique lighting is tested regularly**
Condition report:
Good condition – There are some signs of wear commensurate with the age and use, including some scuffs on the shades.
One inner aluminium shade is slightly looser that the other, this does not affect the usability of the appearance of the piece.
