Mid 20th Century Occasional Chair
Model 52 (Often referred to as the compass chair)
Manufactured by Hong Stolefabrik (stamped on the base of the chair)
Made in Denmark
Designed by Erik Kirkegaard (1950s/60s)
Solid teak frame with a curved teak backrest, The legs connect to the underside of the armrests and taper out, creating a compass shape with a single stretcher front to back on each leg. The seat is black faux leather, original to the piece.
The teak is medium/dark and has a rich brown colour.

Condition report:

Good Condition – The chair is in very good original condition with some some signs of wear commensurate with age and use.
There are some marks on the wooden frame and there are three very small marks on the seat (not easily noticeable)
