Mid 20th Century Three Bay String Shelving System.
Made up of 15 teak shelves and a cabinet with sliding doors, this modular system in set over three bays incorporating two different widths (2x 76cm 1x 62.5cm).
The shelves are made up of six 24cm depth shelves, nine 32cm depth shelves, a cabinet 35.5cm depth and four floor side panels. The floor side panels are wall mounted with a single front foot for additional support.
As this is a modular piece you can choose the layout according to your needs.
Designed by Nisse and Kajsa Strinning in 1949 for the Bonnier Public Library shelving competition, of which String was the winner.

**Please note that this is a modular unit and will be delivered flat packed. We strongly advise having this professionally installed to avoid damage to your property and the shelving.**

Condition report:

Good condition – with signs of wear commensurate with age and use.
All of the shelves have some imperfections, including scratches and some chips, but many of these are not visible when the shelving is in use.
A full condition report can be supplied on request.
