Mid 20th Century Rosewood Wall Mirror
Model 145
Designed by Kai Kristiansen during the 1950s as part of the range of entrance and hall furniture designed for Aksel Kjersgaard from 1955.
Manufactured by Aksel Kjersgaard (stamped on the back panel) – Founded by cabinet marker Aksel Kjersgaard in 1952.
Made in Odder, Denmark.
The rectangular frame has angled edges and an inset mirror. On the side of the corners there are three dowels – an extra detail to the design that also strengthens the frame and in Kristiansen’s words “add durability”.
The mirror is held by cord attached to the frame.
Condition report:
Good Original Condition – There may be minor signs of wear commensurate with the age and use of the piece.
