Mid 20th Century Directional Floor Lamp
Made by Hans Schmidt Lampedesign (Labels located in the inside of each shade)
Made in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The stand and holders have a polished brass finish. The shades and base have a brushed brass finish.
The interior of the shades are white.
Each lamp can be independently adjusted in height by loosening the screw fitting which holds the shade to the stand. The shades have a ball joint mechanism in order to adjust the direction.
Each lamp can be switched on independently.
Professionally rewired and fitted with a three pin UK plug.
We recommend only using low wattage LED bulbs, as these will stay cooler and are less likely to cause damage to the light fitting over time
Please ensure that low wattage LED bulbs are used with mid century lighting
Ensure that all mid century lighting is tested regularly
Condition report:
Good Condition – Some signs of wear commensurate with a age.
There are some scratches to the base and the shades and both shades have some dents
The lower shade is missing a small plastic cap that sits around the on/off button – This does not affect the usability.
The piece has been professionally rewired and fitted with a three pin UK plug.
