Printed in 1964 as part of a folio of Audubon’s work “Birds of America” – Originally published in 1827
The images were printed from Audubon’s watercolour paintings.
A rare first edition of the book of 435 prints sold in auction in December 2010 for £7,321,250
The image is printed on thick paper and is unframed.

The background is off-white, the bird name and male and female key is listed in the centre bottom of the image.
Condition report:
Good Condition – There are some signs of wear and slight discolouring commensurate with age
There are some small nibbles on the edges of the paper (not obvious once framed and mounted)
