“Gay Gobbler” pattern – designed by Jessie Tait in 1955
Produced in the Fashion shape – The first rimless shape produced by Midwinter
Manufactured by Midwinter Pottery, Staffordshire England.
The Gay Gobbler pattern was designed as a Thanksgiving set produced for the American market, featuring a central turkey motif with stylised feathers around the boarder.
This is a 10″ Dinner plate from the Gay Gobbler set (F1)

Condition report:

Good Condition – There is some restoration work on one edge (textural difference on the underside of the plate)
