Marked on the base – Gouda Holland

Not designed in the typical “Gouda” style, the vases have a matt mottled texture in beige and brown tones. The town of Gouda and the surrounding region has a rich history in pottery which dates back to the 1600s, though the popularity of collectible ceramics from the region came later on during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Good condition – some signs of wear commensurate with age
