Gunnar Nylund Eterna Vase

Mid 20th Century Vase Designed by Gunnar Nylund (b. 1904 – d. 1997)

Manufactured by Swedish manufacturer Rorstrand est. 1726 (marked on base)

Part of Nylund’s Eterna series (started in 1967) which also included some bowls and vases in various sizes. This is Model number 5 – orange colourway (though this colour is closer to mustard than some of the bright oranges of the mid 20th century period)

Geometric relief pattern on a cylindrical vase, with a slightly narrow foot/base.

Condition report:

Good Condition – Good original condition with some wear commensurate with age. The piece does not appear to be chipped or cracked There are some speckled dots (caused during the manufacturing process)

Dimensions:

H. 21.5cm W. 8cm D. 8cm (the vase is not completely straight, so there is approx. 1-2mm difference in the height on one side)
