Mid 20th Century Rosewood Frame Mirror
Designed by Danish Designer Kai Kristiansen
Manufactured by Aksel Kjersgaard (founded in 1952 by cabinet maker Aksel Kjersgaard) In 1956 Aksel Kjersgaard launched an entrance/hall furniture range which featured mirrors and smaller furniture pieces by Kai Kristiansen. The carved angled rosewood frame has dowel details in each corner, added as decorative detail, but to also give additional strength to the piece. The mirror hangs from cord attached to metal hooks attached to the frame.
