Mid 20th Century Teak Sewing / Side Table

Designed by Kai Kristiansen during the 1950s

Manufactured by Danish manufacturer Vildbjerg Mobelfabrik (also known as VM), made in Denmark (stamped on the underside)

The table features a wicker drawer with an inner removable tray. The drawer is constructed using exposed finger joints, adding an interesting detail to the piece. The two legs sit on either side of the table with a single stretcher running across the width of the table.

Condition report:

Good Condition – very good condition, with some minor signs of wear commensurate with the age. The wicker basket is in good order and the removable tray is in tact.
