Mid 20th Century Tiled Coffee Table
Triangular shaped tiles in grey, pink and yellow formed in a free form mosaic pattern. These are mounted on a plywood base. There is a brass coloured metal edging that runs around the entire edge of the table top. The legs are detachable (for easy storage and transportation) and are made of a light hard wood with a varnished finish. This table would work well as both a coffee table or indoor plant table/stand, as the tiles can be easily wiped. Made in Germany Original manufacturing label is present on the underside of the table translation: “Manufacturer: Production cooperative of carpenters and sculptors 84 Riesa, Grenzstrasse 28 Description of goods: flower bench Material: wood and colored glass” stamped 2 April 1966

Good Condition – Good original condition with some signs of wear commensurate with age and use. There is some discolouration of the metal trim There are some minor scratches to glass tiles
