Tempo pattern on Fine Shape – Studio transfer by Johnson Matthey. Boarder pattern of olive and turquoise circles in grey oblongs.

The Fine Shape was introduced in 1962 as a modern alternative to the previous shapes. The clay was mixed to create a purer white colour than before.
The patterns designed for Fine Shape were almost all transfer designs (apart from Jessie Tait’s Mexicana design, which was a hand painted design).

Good Condition – some signs of wear commensurate with age and use.
