Mid 20th century rosewood desk.
Three drawers on the left side with brass angular handles and a lockable cupboard on the right hand side.
The drawers are birch lined and feature dove-tail joints. There are some minor ink marks in the drawers, they open quite smoothly, with slight resistance.
The desk has the appearance of a floating top and sits on sleigh legs.
The reverse side of the desk is finished using rosewood panels, allowing this desk to sit neatly in the centre of the room.
It has been made part in solid rosewood and rosewood veneer (typical of rosewood Danish furniture of this period). The rosewood has a gloss lacquered finish, featuring typical rosewood grain patterns.

Condition report:

Good Condition – some signs of wear commensurate with age and use.
There are some marks on the side of the desk and some scratch marks inside the knee hole (this is obscured when a chair is placed under the desk)
There is slight resistance with the drawers and some ink marks within the drawers.
