Mid 20th Century Oak Desk
Made by Domino Mobler (marked with a sticker label under the desktop)
The desk has been constructed from oak veneer on particle board.
Six drawer desk with small single square drawer pulls. The base of the drawers are lined with dark grey/black particle board, the sides of the drawers are constructed in wood. The drawers are grouped into two banks of three.
The oak has a warm aged tone and a matt oiled finish to the wood
The reverse of the desk is finished neatly and would look good in the centre of a room
Condition report:
Good condition – The desk is structurally in good condition, however, has signs of age associated wear
The desk top has two main areas of staining, the largest area is on the left hand side (appears to have been caused by water) and has some areas within that stain where the veneer has been worn down to the particle board.
The other smaller stain on the right hand side is likely to have been caused by dark ink
There is wear to the veneer on the front edge of the desk on the right hand side
There is an ink stain inside the top right drawer
