This poster was used on the transport network to advertise a book of country walks. The poster was available to purchase at the poster shop in Marylebone – “This is a reproduction of a poster designed for London Transport” is printed at the top of the image as it was for sale during the period.
The Passage at the bottom describes the life of the farmer featured in the image and advertises the book of country walks available for purchase.
The poster has been newly professionally framed with a glazed black wooden frame.
Condition report:
This poster has signs of wear – including but not limited to fading and rust marks from drawing pins. It is a well used piece.
